Yongye International to Host Analyst/Investor Event and Grand Opening Ceremony for New Production Facility in Inner Mongolia

BEIJING, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Yongye International, Inc. (Nasdaq: YONG) ("Yongye" or the "Company"), a leading manufacturer, developer and distributor of "Shengmingsu" brand plant and animal nutrient products in China, today announced that the Company will host an analyst/investor event as well as a grand opening ceremony for its new production facility in Inner Mongolia, China on August 27-28, 2010.

The two-day event will begin with a field trip to a local village on August 27th where investors and analysts will have the opportunity to visit an independently owned Yongye branded store as well as meet with local farmers who are using the Company's Shengmingsu plant nutrient product to help improve their crop yields. In addition, Yongye will take investors and analysts on a tour of the Company's R&D facilities and existing production facility in Hohhot.

On August 28th, Yongye will celebrate the grand opening of its new production facility, which will have an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of plant nutrient and 10,000 tons of animal nutrient product. In addition, participants will be invited to visit the lignite coal resource project that the Company is acquiring, which is located nearby.
