Yoostar Partners with CBS Consumer Products

NEW YORK, June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Yoostar™ Entertainment Group today announced a new licensing agreement with CBS Consumer Products for the rights to a selection of CBS's TV titles for use in the upcoming launch of Yoostar2, a Social Video Game launching on the new Kinect™ for Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®Move system.  The agreement includes popular current and classic television shows, including "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," "CSI Miami," "Survivor," "America's Next Top Model," "Twin Peaks," "Entertainment Tonight," "Star Trek," and an additional 20 properties.

Yoostar2 allows players to perform "karaoke-style" in hundreds of famous movie scenes, share the videos they create with friends and family online and participate in a vibrant online community of performers. Yoostar2 was unveiled this week to the gaming industry and media at the E3 Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

CBS becomes the sixth major entertainment studio to provide content to Yoostar, joining Paramount, Universal, MGM, Lions Gate and Warner Bros.

Yoostar has secured a wide range of world-class movie content for use in its social video game platform, including hundreds of iconic movie scenes and top Hollywood talent.  

The Yoostar library includes top box office blockbusters like "Forrest Gump," "The Mummy," "The Godfather," "King Kong" and "Rocky"; cult films like "Blade Runner" and "The Terminator"; and top classics such as "Casablanca," "Gone with the Wind" and "The Wizard of Oz."  Yoostar2 will come with 60 scenes, and players can purchase and download additional clips from the Yoostar library during or apart from gameplay.  

Yoostar will release more information about the game, including an official launch date, pricing and national retail distribution in the weeks to come.  Updates will also be posted regularly to Yoostar2.com.
