YOU On Demand Announces Chief Technology Officer

NEW YORK, Feb. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- YOU On Demand Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: YOD) ("YOU On Demand"), a leading multi-platform entertainment and Video On Demand company in China, has announced the appointment of Mr. Kevin Lin as its Chief Technology Officer.

An industry expert with a career spanning more than 20 years, Kevin will be responsible for all facets of YOU On Demand's technology, product, and operations initiatives, including technology development, product management & marketing, content production and operations. Kevin will be based in China and report to the company's CEO.

Prior to joining YOU On Demand, Kevin served as a principal architect at Huawei's Silicon Valley Research Labs, advising internally on key technology disruptions and major shifts. In addition, Kevin has filed over 10 utility patents in the multimedia and wireless space.

Kevin started his career with Nortel, Ericsson, and Alcatel, and later developed his leadership skills with start-ups at varying stages in Silicon Valley. Kevin has extensive experience in content delivery networks, online/mobile video, social networks and data analytics.

Kevin has a B.S. and M.Sc. in computer science and holds an MBA from the University of Alberta in Canada.
