Young & Rubicam Veteran Opens SWIRE's New York Office

GLENDORA, Calif., Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- SWIRE, an evolved marketing communications agency, today announced that Chris Palmisano has joined the company as vice president of client solutions.  Palmisano will be responsible for business development as well as building and growing SWIRE's newly-opened New York office.

Palmisano comes to SWIRE with a wealth of advertising agency experience, having worked in New York his entire career at several of world's largest agencies. Most recently, he served as a senior vice president at Young & Rubicam where he managed several of Dannon's largest brands, including all kid yogurt brands and the national advertising launch of DanActive in 2007.  Prior to Y&R, Palmisano managed several parts of the Johnson & Johnson's business, including the iconic Band-Aid® Brand account, while at McCann Erickson.  Earlier in his career, Palmisano managed the brand advertising efforts of the Department of Defense (JRAP) while at Bates USA, and worked on a variety of other accounts including Pfizer, Rolling Rock and Ray-Ban Sunglasses.
