NEW YORK, June 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- On Sunday, June 14, the first-ever Your Wedding Experience presented by David Tutera live wedding event made its debut at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia - immediately becoming one of the most talked about, larger-than-life wedding experiences to ever hit the city.

The one-of-a kind event, specifically tailored to engaged couples, was hosted by celebrity event planner and wedding extraordinaire David Tutera, with special guest, "Cake Boss" star Buddy Valastro and offered endless wedding inspiration, reputable industry experts and the best possible resources all under one roof.  Over 2,300 were in attendance and provided nothing but positive feedback both verbally and through active social media engagement which included a total reach of over 40,000, the use of the show's hashtags over 3,200 times and an increase of over 1,300 followers.

Your Wedding Experience's Atlanta show featured over 100 hand-selected "David Tutera Approved" vendors and national sponsors, completely selling out each wedding planning phase of the show floor in record time. Event highlights included celebrity meet and greets and a Wedding Catwalk fashion show hosted by David Tutera that featured over 60 looks (including David's own wedding collection David Tutera for Mon Cheri) by Encore Formals & Bridal, Menguin, CTO Bridal Boutique, Miguel Wilson Collection and New Natalie's Bridals.  Special guest models Keith Carlos--former NFL player and the first male winner of America's Next Top Model and Josh Murray--winner of The Bachelorette, walked the catwalk while over 700 attendees watched in excitement and danced in their seats to the feel-good music, including celebrities like VH1 star Christina Johnson sitting front row with actor Willie Wallace.  The custom designed white diamond runway with glam pit VIP seating was the centerpiece of the full production show by Atomic and PPi. Behind the scenes, it took a band of 43 professional hair and make up artists, photographers, stage managers, and creative young talent including dozens of student volunteers from The Art Institute of Atlanta and wedding planning graduates from the Lovegevity's Wedding Planning Institute to put on the over-the-top runway show.

Guests indulged in a DIY Nail polish bar, a Ring Selfie station, a 'Tips and Trends' stage featuring guest speakers including DIY expert Patrice Catan from Darice and other local industry pros, a cigar lounge inside a restored Airstream trailer and several specialty local Food Trucks. Other highlights of the day included stunning Sweetheart tablescape displays by Let's Celebrate, Christina Sloan Events, Ladybird Events, Distinctive Design Events, Eventscapes and A Divine Event--who was awarded "Best in Show" by David Tutera, while Buddy Valastro judged the Sweets Showcase featuring unique cakes from Cakehouse on Main, The Chocolate Box & Cake Boutique, not a crumb!, Perfect Wedding Cake, A Divine Event and awarded his favorite to Baker's Man.
