NEW YORK, Nov. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Z Capital Group, L.L.C. ("Z Capital"), a leading alternative asset management firm with $2.2 billion in regulatory assets under management across complementary private equity and credit businesses, today announced it has made several team additions to expand its operating, private equity and credit teams.

Operating Partners

• Sean Maddock joined Z Capital as a Managing Director and Operating Partner. He assists in the management and oversight of portfolio company initiatives, including international luxury hotel and destination resort management. Mr. Maddock has more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality and luxury travel industries. His past experience includes senior positions at Evolution Hospitality, KSL Resorts, The Homestead (VA), Arizona Biltmore, and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.

• Ashwini Sawhney joined Z Capital as a Managing Director and Operating Partner. She assists in the management and oversight of portfolio company initiatives, including operations, cost controls, process improvement, strategic planning, and mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Sawhney previously worked as a Director overseeing business transformation within the automotive group at Illinois Tool Works as well as at The Timken Company and Allstate Investments.
