CHICAGO, Aug. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Zacks Index Services is pleased to announce the introduction of Zacks Global Autonomous Vehicle Index. This innovative index offers strategic exposure to companies who are actively involved in research and development, manufacturing, and supporting self-driving cars.
The Index is comprised of three subsectors: Auto Parts Producers, Manufacturers, and Technology.
- Auto Parts Producers: engaged in research, developing and producing parts for autonomous vehicles
- Manufacturers: involved in investing, research, testing and manufacturing self-driving cars
- Technology: engaged in providing necessary support such as high-precision map, autonomy, safety and intelligence assistance
The Zacks Global Autonomous Vehicle Index employs proprietary selection rules to identify constituents that contribute to or generate revenue from the autonomous vehicle industry. The Index includes publicly listed, liquid securities trading in both the United States and global exchanges. The Index, which is comprised of 60 constituents, is reconstituted once a year.
