(NYSE : ZFC ) ("ZAIS Financial" or the "Company") announced today the closing of its initial public offering of 5,650,000 shares of common stock at a price to the public of $21.25 per share, for gross proceeds to the Company of $120.1 million. ZAIS Financial has granted to the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 847,500 shares of common stock to cover overallotments, if any.
The Company expects to use the net proceeds from the initial public offering, together with additional borrowings, to purchase its target assets.
Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Barclays Capital Inc. and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC served as the joint book runners for the offering.
