Zanett and St. Vincent Health Announced as Finalist for Prestigious Mira Awards Program

NEW YORK, April 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Zanett and St. Vincent Health have been named as a finalist for the Mira Awards Program under the category of Healthcare Information Technology.  Now in its 11th year, TechPoint's Mira Awards recognize the achievements of Indiana's outstanding technology performers and contributors, and focuses attention on the broader issue of the important role technology plays in Indiana's economy.  

Zanett and St. Vincent Health have been nominated for their jointly developed Clinical Online Delivery System (CODS) software, which supports standardized, evidence-based order sets at the point of care, arming doctors and clinicians with critical information to improve medication safety and patient care.  CODS was developed for hospitals without a fully implemented electronic medical record (EMR) system.  It serves as a "bridge" strategy towards moving to CPOE (Computerized Physician Order Entry), an application that enables providers to enter medical orders into a computer system in an inpatient or ambulatory setting.
