Zeisler PLLC Expands Intellectual Property Practice

NEW YORK, Feb. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Zeisler PLLC is pleased to announce that nationally recognized trademark attorney Mark N. Mutterperl has joined the law firm as a partner to lead the firm's intellectual property and brand protection practice.

Mr. Mutterperl focuses on a broad range of intellectual property matters with an emphasis on brand protection, trademarks, trade dress, copyrights, false advertising, and right of publicity. He has litigated trademark and anti-counterfeiting matters for some of the nation's largest companies and best-known brands such as Apple, Procter & Gamble, Starbucks, Estee Lauder, Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer. His practice includes organizing and implementing anti-counterfeiting programs and managing all aspects of trademark portfolios ranging from name selection to enforcement. Mr. Mutterperl also serves as an adjunct professor of Trademarks and Unfair Competition at New York Law School.

Mr. Mutterperl joins Zeisler PLLC from Bracewell & Giuliani, prior to which he was a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright (previously Fulbright & Jaworski) for 23 years. Mr. Mutterperl is a longtime member of the International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition (IACC) and the International Trademark Association (INTA) where he currently is a member of the International Amicus Committee. He previously served as a Senior Attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice and in the U.S. Attorney's Office.
