DJ Edgerton Brings International Expertise to Leading Digital Marketing Organization
NEW YORK, Feb. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Internationally known digital marketing innovator and Zemoga co-founder and CEO DJ Edgerton has been selected by the Society of Digital Agencies (SoDA) to serve on the organization's 2011 Board of Directors.
Edgerton is one of eight board members elected to govern for 2011 and chart a vision for the organization with regard to events, projects and forecasts for the coming year. As part of his new role, Edgerton will also be responsible for reviewing progress and compliance with SoDA's strategic direction to advance the digital marketing industry through best practices, education and advocacy.
SoDA board members are elected each year by current SoDA members who choose candidates based on who they believe will best represent and guide the nonprofit organization in the coming year. As part of his role, Edgerton will have the opportunity to represent SoDA through speaking engagements and industry events.

With more than 18 years of experience in interactive marketing, Edgerton has become recognized as an industry pioneer in digital innovation since his early days at Saatchi & Saatchi. After launching his own award-winning agency, Underline, in 1992, he negotiated a successful sale of the company to Context Integration in 1999. Two years later, he partnered with former Underline creative colleague Alejandro Gomez to launch Zemoga, one of the first companies to leverage the "near shore interactive services model" with innovation and production capabilities in Bogota, Colombia. The firm has since expanded, adding client services, innovation and production capacity in New York, San Francisco and Wilton, CT.
