Zentera Systems Introduces CoIP Cloud-Ready Enclave for Multicloud Security

SAN JOSE, Calif., June 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Zentera Systems, Inc., the leader in infrastructure security for the multicloud, today announced its CoIP Cloud-Ready Enclave™ product for the multicloud, enabling enterprise workload migration into the cloud. By combining enterprise application workloads with an overlay virtual security infrastructure, the CoIP Cloud-Ready Enclave protects workloads using consistent security policies with automatic and dynamic security implementation. This makes the enterprise application workloads ready for cloud migration.

Zentera's CoIP Cloud-Ready Enclave uses the CoIP^® (Cloud over IP^®) Platform, which secures application workloads in the multicloud ecosystem by connecting them through an isolated, unified, virtual overlay network, referred to as an enclave. This enclave runs on top of the remote cloud stack, meaning the enclave is agnostic to any cloud and underlay network. Therefore, the network does not require changes to the underlying network infrastructure, and can be up and running in less than a day.

The CoIP Cloud-Ready Enclave offers a set of cloud-native security features that allow enterprises to implement security policies that are associated with workloads in motion. These features include micro-segmentation, application interlock, and adaptive security learning. The security rules for micro-segmentation can be automatically generated, while application interlock permits only the application in the enclave to use the overlay network for communication. Lastly, adaptive security learning is a feature that automatically discovers and creates additional security rules to reduce vulnerability.
