Equity firm executive tapped to offer more retail growth acceleration for clients

With more than 30 years of experience in turning around companies and re-activating consumer brands as a CEO, Division President and Senior Managing Director of both public and private companies, T. Scott King will focus on crafting and executing upon long-term business initiatives for Zimmerman clients.

He spent 20 years at the Sherwin Williams Company, where as President of the Consumer Brands Division, he built the Dutch Boy brand to the number one DIY brand in the industry, introduced Ralph Lauren and Martha Stewart paint lines, and grew the revenue of the company from $350 million to $1 billion in six years. In more than a decade with Sun Capital, he helped navigate brands such as The Limited, Shopko, Gordmans, Friendly's, Marsh Supermarkets, VPS Convenience Stores, Bruegger's Bagels, Fazoli's and Jiffy Lube stores.
