Zixi Introduces ZEN Management-Centralized Control For Zixi Enabled Networks

ZEN Management reduces complexity of live-streaming workflows via an easy-to-use GUI where users can manage broadcast video inputs and outputs, create live linear channels, and view the health of their Zixi Enabled Network down to the stream, device, and channel level. ZEN Management is a cloud-based platform that allows users to control and manage a global Zixi Enabled Network (ZEN) made up of Zixi software subsystems and Zixi-enabled edge devices. With ZEN Management, broadcast professionals can easily manage all devices and video content within their own organization and with content distribution partners.

ZEN Management maintains automatic configuration details for all Zixi resources, including Zixi Feeders, third-party Zixi embedded hardware, and Zixi Broadcaster clusters, as well as to publishing targets such as a Zixi Receiver or multiple CDNs. This enables users to create single or adaptive-bitrate channels from any source to any distribution point, complete with multi-region automatic failover, almost instantly. The platform includes three pools of Zixi Broadcaster instances, which are used for the ingest, processing (transcoding, transmuxing), and delivery of video content. Each pool features dynamic cloud auto-scaling, so companies can fluidly add and remove content offerings without additional setup, all while optimizing operational cost.

To give team members appropriate access to the platform, ZEN Management features robust role-management and permissions tools.
