ZyDoc Selects Health Fidelity's REVEAL™ Natural Language Processing (NLP) Platform to Accelerate Time to Value for its MediSapien Web Services

MENLO PARK, Calif., June 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Fidelity, Inc., provider of a breakthrough natural language processing (NLP) platform for healthcare IT application (HIT) companies and healthcare organizations (HCOs), has signed a multi-year agreement with ZyDoc, a New York-based medical informatics company.  Under the agreement, Health Fidelity's REVEAL™ technology will power ZyDoc's web-based MediSapien™ applications suite, which generates structured medical terminologies including ICD-9, SNOMED-CT®, RxNorm, LOINC®, and ICD-10 codes in both inpatient and ambulatory health care settings.

MediSapien has been developed by ZyDoc as an enterprise-class web-based platform for service partners to convert unstructured text into fully coded structured data. MediSapien accepts dictation or text from transcription vendors, legacy data and EHRs. The fully coded structured output, including ICD-10, is suitable for insertion into EHRs and facilitates interoperability.
