365 Connect Raises Funds and Awareness With Participation at Annual Kidney Walk Event
NEW ORLEANS, Nov. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- 365 Connect, a leading provider of award-winning marketing, leasing, and resident technology platforms for the multifamily housing industry announced today that the company will participate in the Annual Kidney Walk Event being held on November 12, 2017, at Audubon Park in New Orleans, Louisiana. 365 Connect, a key sponsor of the event, is inviting the company's friends, fans, and followers to walk with us by joining or donating to the 365 Connect Kidney Walk Team.
The Kidney Walk is the nation's largest walk to fight kidney disease. The event raises awareness and funds for lifesaving programs that educate and support patients, their families, and those at risk. Held in nearly 100 communities, the accumulation of over 100,000 walkers nationwide come to the aid of the 26 million Americans that suffer from kidney disease, which has been recognized as one of the top ten health problems in the United States. Louisiana ranks highest per capita in the nation, with nearly 460,000 residents with kidney disease, over 10,000 individuals on dialysis, and approximately 1,800 on waiting lists for a life-saving kidney transplant.

The Kidney Walk is being held on the second weekend of November against the gorgeous backdrop of Audubon Park, which is located in the historic Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans. This will be the Kidney Walk's 16th year and will feature events beyond the walk itself. Teams can enjoy music and dancing, in addition to other entertainment. The two-mile non-competitive walk registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the opening ceremony and walk starting at 10:00 a.m.
