500 Ernst & Young LLP Professionals Donate Time and Talent To Raise the Financial IQ of NYC Kids
NEW YORK, May 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --
WHAT: Up to 500 Ernst & Young LLP professionals will fan out across the city to deliver financial literacy, entrepreneurship, college, and career-readiness education to up to 3,000 K-12 NYC public school students in a single day as part of their annual EY Connect Day, the organization's day of community service. Their volunteer service day will end with a celebratory Bowl-A-Thon event to raise $40,000 to benefit Junior Achievement.
WHO: The following Ernst & Young LLP leaders will join nearly 500 of their colleagues to help NYC and Long Island kids get the knowledge and skills they need to plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices:
