ACT Announces Additional Products On-Orbit
LANCASTER, Pa., March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) (www.1-ACT.com) announced today that a second satellite carrying its Constant Conductance Heat Pipes (CCHPs) has been launched. Orbital Sciences Corporation, who manufactured and tested the spacecraft, confirmed that the CCHPs are operating as designed. Including this launch, the total combined operational time of ACT CCHPs is over 23,000 hours.

This facility has produced thermal hardware with the following operating ranges:
- Temperatures: from -150 to 1,100 degrees C.
- Pressures: from 10-9 torr to 10,000 psi.
- Heat fluxes: to 1,500 W/cm2.
- Heat load: from less than 1 W to 540 kW.
