Advisors Asset Management Appoints Bart Daniel as Chief Strategy Officer

MONUMENT, Colo., Jan. 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Advisors Asset Management Inc. (AAM), a leading investment solutions partner, today announced that Bart Daniel has been appointed as Chief Strategy Officer. Mr. Daniel, who has been employed with AAM since 2003, will be responsible for working with the executive team to advance the formulation, development and implementation of AAM's strategies and policies, as well as driving their execution.

The appointment comes as AAM increases its focus on the efficient execution of its business strategy. Mr. Daniel will play a key role in ensuring that AAM customers receive maximum benefit from the expanding product lines and services that the firm provides.

Mr. Daniel brings more than 18 years of industry experience to AAM. Prior to accepting the role of Chief Strategy Officer, he served as Senior Vice President of Product Management. He has developed extensive expertise in evaluating and improving business processes and technology products within the financial services industry and is highly skilled in the development and management of new infrastructure and support departments. Mr. Daniel focuses on current market and technology trends and has managed several departments at AAM, including overseeing electronic services, marketing, product management, data operations, education, and portfolio analytics.
