BETHESDA, Md., April 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- AdvisorShares, a leading sponsor of actively managed Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), today announced April 2012 income distributions for ETFs that pay monthly dividends. Shareholders of record on April 26, 2012 will receive cash distributions paid on April 30, 2012 in the following amounts:

For Non-Resident Alien ("NRA") shareholders who are normally subject to a 30% (or lower tax treaty rate depending on the country) NRA withholding tax on ETF dividend income and short-term capital gain dividends, unless such dividends are designated as exempt from NRA withholding tax, 92.52% of the Peritus High Yield ETF distribution and 60.98% of the Madrona Global Bond ETF distribution has been designated as exempt.
