Anny Kwok joins Heidrick & Struggles as Partner in Financial Services Practice
HONG KONG, Nov. 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Heidrick & Struggles (Nasdaq: HSII), a premier provider of executive search, leadership consulting and culture shaping worldwide, today announced that Anny Kwok has joined the firm as a partner in the Financial Services Practice based in Hong Kong, primarily focusing on serving clients in private equity and alternative asset management.

In her role, Anny will primarily focus on Greater China Financial Services and Private Equity clients in the broader North Asia Region. Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Anny was with another international executive firm and was responsible for building the firm's Asia Private Equity business from inception. As a former investor she has a deep knowledge of the market, its trends and cycles, allowing her to form a targeted view in identifying the best senior-team at the fund level and at the Private Equity backed portfolio companies.
Bringing to the firm more than 15 years of industry experience and connectivity, Anny's expertise spans different fund strategies (Venture, Growth, Buyout, Mezzanine/Distressed Debt, Real Estate, Fund of Funds). She has delivered senior searches for the GPs and LPs, including Managing Partners and Managing Directors, Head of Operations & Finance, Portfolio CEO, CFO and Board of Directors.
Anny began her career in brand marketing with PepsiCo and Yum Brands. Upon graduating from Harvard MBA, she switched into finance with Goldman Sachs and CITIC Capital Partners making investments in consumer companies.
