Aspen Dental Welcomes Orthodontic Leader Dr. Mindy J. Streem as Director of Orthodontic Support

CHICAGO, Feb. 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Aspen Dental® is pleased to announce that Dr. Mindy J. Streem has joined Aspen Dental Management Inc. as its new Director of Orthodontic Support. Dr. Streem, a highly respected leader in the orthodontic field, will leverage her extensive clinical skills and leadership experience to further elevate Aspen Dental's growing clear aligner offering, enhance patient care, and promote the integration of orthodontic expertise across Aspen Dental practices.

Dr. Streem brings more than 15 years of experience in private practice, where she has served both as an owner and partner. She is currently the President of the Harvard Dental Alumni Association and an elected Graduate School Director on the board of the Harvard Alumni Association of Harvard University. In addition to her leadership roles, she mentors students through the American Association of Women Dentists, Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and The University of Michigan.

Dr. Streem is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and an active member of several leading dental organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the American Dental Association (ADA), the Ohio Dental Association, and the Greater Cleaveland Dental Society. Her comprehensive background also includes a distinguished academic career: she graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Michigan with two undergraduate degrees and later earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she served as Vice President of the school and President of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity chapter. Following her DMD, Dr. Streem earned a Master of Science and certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Michigan.

As Director of Orthodontic Support, Dr. Streem will provide critical support to Aspen Dental providers, offering both guidance and training through TAG University as well as fostering collaborative efforts to ensure providers have the skills and tools they need to deliver a high standard of care. Her leadership will be instrumental in Aspen Dental's continued efforts to expand its clear aligner offering and ensure patients have access to the most innovative and effective treatments with the support of Dr. Payam Ataii, SVP of Orthodontic Support at Aspen Dental Management Inc.
