ATA Congratulates Safety Expert on International Distinction

ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 6, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Trucking Associations (ATA) congratulates Dr. Ron R. Knipling on receiving the Order of Merit, one of the highest recognitions given by the International Road Transport Union (IRU), a Geneva, Switzerland-based international organization representing highway users. Knipling is the author of "Safety for the Long Haul," a comprehensive commercial vehicle safety book recently published by the ATA.
