"ATA is proud of, and thankful for, all our allied members and exhibitors," said outgoing ATA Chairman Barbara Windsor, president and CEO of Hahn Transportation Inc. "One of the highlights of MC&E is to see the innovation and technology on display in this hall."
Windsor was joined by incoming ATA Chairman Dan England, chairman and president of C.R. England Inc., and Gov. Graves in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the hall.
"While ATA's carrier members deliver the nation's essential goods, our allied members and our exhibitors help us accomplish this goal to the satisfaction of our customers. They also help us operate safely as we share the highways with other motorists," England said.
The hall features more than 160 exhibitors this year, including roughly 40 first-time exhibitors.
"I'm pleased that we have so many fine companies represented here on our exhibit floor, and I'm especially happy to see so many first-time exhibitors," Graves said. "The interaction between the thousands of ATA members attending our meeting this year and the dozens of exhibitors in our exhibit hall is an important part of the MC&E experience."
