ATA Talks Trucking at GATS

ARLINGTON, Va., Aug. 24 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Trucking Associations will be at the Great American Truck Show (GATS) in Dallas Aug. 26-28. ATA Programs dedicated to safety and enhancing the image of the industry will be showcased during the three-day event.



America's Road Team Captains will be located in the America's Road Team booth to share their experience achieving millions of accident-free miles. Captains will also discuss the significance of making safety an underlying aspect of being a driver and the importance of the trucking industry to the U.S. economy.

Share the Road Professional Drivers will be located in the Share the Road booth to talk to attendees about providing space and consideration for other motorists on the highway. The Share the Road Professional Drivers will hand out educational materials for both professional drivers and the motoring public on the show floor, promoting the partnership necessary to keep our highways safe.

The American Trucking Associations will be located at Booth #16099 on the show floor.

The America's Road Team, sponsored by Volvo Trucks North America, is a national public outreach program led by a small group of professional truck drivers who share superior driving skills, remarkable safety records and a strong desire to spread the word about safety on the highway.
