Axcelis Appoints New Executive Vice President Of Customer Operations
John Aldeborgh to Lead Global Sales and Customer Support Organization
BEVERLY, Mass., June 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Axcelis Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACLS), a leading supplier of enabling ion implantation solutions for the semiconductor industry, announced that it has appointed John Aldeborgh to the position of Executive Vice President, Customer Operations. In this role, John will be responsible for developing and executing programs to expand Axcelis' market presence and drive growth.

John Aldeborgh has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Most recently, he was the Founder, CEO and Board Member of innoPad, a Chemical Mechanical Planarization pad manufacturer. Prior to that, John was the VP of Sales and Marketing at Varian Semiconductor Associates. He holds an MBA degree in Finance and Accounting, and a BS degree in Economics and Marketing from Babson College.
