BBG Expands Presence In Northeast With Opening Of Philadelphia Office
Jim Klementisz Joins as Director
DALLAS, Jan. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- BBG, a leading independent national commercial real estate valuation, advisory and assessment firm, continued its growth streak in the new year with the opening of an office in Philadelphia, further expanding its presence in the Northeast. The Philadelphia office, located at 1650 Market St, Suite 3634, marks BBG's second office in the Northeast and its 31st office nationwide.
BBG also announced that it has appointed Jim Klementisz, MAI, SRA, as Director at the Philadelphia office.
With offices in Philadelphia and New York City, BBG now has a strong presence in the Northeast, a region that ranks among the most active markets in the country.
The commercial real estate sector in the greater Philadelphia metropolitan area is the third largest regional economy in the Northeast. Recently, activity in this area has been buoyed by a healthy economy and strong investment in most commercial property types, particularly the office building and industrial sectors.
The office opening follows BBG's acquisition last month of a New York City appraisal firm Jerome Haims Realty, which became part of the firm's New York office.
Joining the Philadelphia office in December, Mr. Klementisz will be responsible for market valuations, quality control, new business development and client management. Mr. Klementisz's appointment follows the hiring of Michael Ramos, who is also a Director at the Philadelphia office.
Mr. Klementisz has more than 25 years of experience in the valuation of commercial and residential property types including subdivisions, vacant land, mixed-use assets, office buildings, retail and eminent domain valuations, including luxury estate subdivision, pipeline expansion and road improvement projects.
Mr. Klementisz has provided valuation services for tax appeals, financing, estate planning and acquisition and dissolution. He has also given expert testimony for the Federal Bankruptcy Court, Montgomery County Board of View, various tax assessment boards in Pennsylvania, and the Montgomery County Board of View.
Before joining BBG, Mr. Klementisz owned and operated his own appraisal firm serving banks, attorneys, municipalities and property owners. He has been actively involved in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, where he served on the board of directors and as chapter president.
