Better Homes And Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene, Houston's Number One Brokerage, Merges With Heritage Texas Properties To Create One Of The Nation's Largest Firms

MADISON, N.J., Aug. 27, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate LLC announced today that its largest franchisee and the number one Greater Houston Metropolitan area¹ brokerage Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene has merged with Heritage Texas Properties.  The Heritage Texas Properties offices will now do business as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene.  

The company now has 24 offices and 1,300 affiliated agents, becoming one of the top 50 real estate firms in the U.S. and 90% larger than its nearest Houston competitor in sales volume.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene Managing Partners Mark Woodroof and Marilyn Eiland will continue to lead the company.  Woodroof, who was named the 2018 Most Admired CEO by the Houston Business Journal, has held a variety of prominent positions in real estate management since 1985 and is currently a Director of the National Association of Realtors^®. Eiland, a former Director of the Houston Association of Realtors^® and the Texas Association of Realtors^®, has held various management roles within the company since joining as its Training Director in 1978. Robin Mueck and Chaille Ralph, CEO and President, respectively, of Heritage Texas Properties will stay with the combined company in leadership roles.
