SAN FRANCISCO, March 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- DoorDash, the technology company connecting customers with the best local businesses through door-to-door delivery, today announced a pilot with alcohol retailer BevMo!, allowing customers to order their favorite beer, wine, spirits, and mixers directly to their doorsteps. The partnership will test delivery from select BevMo! stores in the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay areas and marks DoorDash's first partnership with a multi-state retailer in specialty alcoholic beverages.
Los Angeles and San Francisco-area residents can use the DoorDash app or website to order their favorite BevMo! products, without leaving the house, office or party. DoorDash will be offering more than 600 top-selling BevMo! products, including wine, craft beer, spirits, mixers, and specialty foods and snacks.

Last June, DoorDash launched alcohol delivery in select cities. To meet customer demand, alcohol delivery quickly expanded beyond the pilot in Southern California to a number of markets including California, Texas, Chicago, and Miami. With the launch of alcohol on DoorDash, customers are able to order beer, wine and spirits along with their favorite foods for the first time.
