Blue Bottle Coffee Introduces New Membership Program, Bringing More Rewards and Generosity to Every Cup
From gifting lattes to surprise rewards, new program blends care, craft, and connection in every coffee experience
OAKLAND, Calif., Sept. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Bottle Coffee, a global leader in specialty coffee, today announced the launch of its new Blue Bottle Coffee Membership, created to bring the care and hospitality of its cafes into the digital space. Designed to make every coffee ritual more rewarding and more shareable, the program allows members to earn points with every purchase - redeeming a free drink for themselves or gifting one to a friend for even fewer points. Available now through the newly-redesigned Blue Bottle Coffee mobile app, membership also offers exclusive perks throughout the year.
Blue Bottle's believes that hospitality is more than a transaction — it's an opportunity to express care, foster connection, and celebrate everyday rituals. By blending thoughtful rewards with small acts of generosity, the membership enables guests to connect more meaningfully with others through coffee.
"We believe generosity is a powerful expression of hospitality," said Simone Hodges, Chief Brand & Experience Officer at Blue Bottle Coffee. "With our new membership program, we're giving our guests more ways to share the coffee they love, whether gifting a drink to a friend or being surprised with a reward for no reason at all. It's a digital experience rooted in the values we've always held close: care, craft, and connection."
