BV Investment Partners, in Collaboration with TriCore Solutions, Announces Growth Equity Investment in REAN Cloud
BOSTON, May 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- BV Investment Partners ("BV"), a private equity firm focused on the information and business services and communications sectors, along with TriCore Solutions, LLC ("TriCore"), a BV Fund VIII portfolio company, today announced a joint investment in REAN Cloud, LLC ("REAN" or the "Company"), an Amazon Web Services ("AWS") Premier Consulting Partner and provider of cloud strategy, migration and managed services to enterprise and government customers. The existing owners of REAN will maintain a majority ownership interest in partnership with BV and TriCore.
Founded in 2013 and based in Herndon, VA, REAN Cloud helps customers architect, build, migrate, and manage their IT workloads and applications on AWS. REAN is led by AWS and industry veterans with deep cloud services expertise supporting customers in predominantly highly regulated end markets, including Life Sciences, Higher Education, Financial Services and Government. In addition to its AWS Premier Consulting Partner status, REAN is a designated AWS Managed Services Partner, whereby it enables 24/7/365 best-practice large-scale cloud operations for customers. The Company has also achieved the AWS DevOps competency, assisting customers in implementing continuous integration, continuous deployment (CICD) pipeline automation, built leveraging the industry's best tools. REAN has grown rapidly since its inception and currently has over 120 employees worldwide.
The investment in REAN will help to facilitate the Company's continued growth, including geographic expansion and investment in internal resources, sales and marketing. TriCore is an application managed services provider specialized in enterprise resource planning (Oracle, SAP and PeopleSoft), database management, business analytics and business intelligence. Alongside the joint investment, REAN and TriCore have established a formal affiliate partnership to seek to accelerate cloud adoption of sophisticated, mission-critical enterprise applications and to provide customers with ongoing technical and functional support for these applications in the cloud.
