Cambium Networks Expands Executive Management Team

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill., June 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Cambium Networks™, a global provider of secure, resilient and scalable access and transport solutions, today announced the addition of two new executives to the senior management team to capitalize on the increasing demand for the company's award-winning wireless broadband solutions worldwide.

Vibhu Vivek joins Cambium Networks as senior vice president of products. In this role, Vivek will lead Cambium Networks' worldwide engineering efforts to provide product technology direction and accelerate innovation. Michelle Pampin is joining the company as vice president of global marketing, to lead Cambium Networks' go-to-market strategy and brand development efforts world-wide.

Vibhu Vivek — Senior Vice President of Products
Vivek brings more than 20 years of experience in building leading edge wireless, networking and security products for enterprises and service providers. Prior to joining Cambium Networks, Vivek was vice president of engineering for the Enterprise Network and Communications Business Unit within Motorola Solutions, where he was responsible for the vision, technology and product development of the company's WLAN portfolio. Under Vibhu's leadership, many world-class innovative products were conceived and launched enabling significant business growth for the company. In addition to his work at Motorola, Vivek has held management positions at Nortel and Alteon WebSystems, where he developed high-performance security, WLAN and outdoor mesh products. He has also worked at various Silicon Valley startups in the fields of imaging, document management and mobile applications.

Michelle Pampin —Vice President of Global Marketing
Pampin brings over 15 years of global wireless backhaul experience in sales, product management and leading marketing teams to Cambium Networks. Most recently, Pampin was director of product and channel marketing at Symmetricom, where she lead the company's product marketing and channel programs covering communications, enterprise, government and utilities markets. Prior to her work at Symmetricom, Pampin held executive management positions at Harris Corporation's Microwave Division (now Aviat Networks), Exalt Communications and Alvarion. At Harris Corporation, Pampin led the global launch of the TRuepoint platform, the industry's first software configurable licensed microwave platform.
