Cambria Hotels Breaks Ground in Downtown Savannah
ROCKVILLE, Md., Feb. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH), one of the world's largest hotel companies, in collaboration with HOS Management, broke ground yesterday afternoon at the future home of the Cambria Hotel Savannah Historic District. Located at 321 Montgomery St., the 103-room, six-story property is slated to open in 2019.
Situated in the heart of the city, the Cambria Hotel Savannah Historic District will feature a rooftop bar, locally-inspired interior and exterior designs, local art, multi-function meeting space, a business center, and state-of-the-art fitness center. The hotel will also have contemporary onsite dining, serving a menu comprised of area specialties, signature cocktails and local craft beers, as well as freshly prepared grab-and-go gourmet salads and sandwiches.
Savannah is home to the largest National Historic Landmark District in the United States and includes the Savannah Historic District, the Savannah Victorian Historic District, and many parks, offering guests the opportunity to learn more about the area and take in the natural scenery. The property is just minutes from world-class shopping, dining, museums, and entertainment attractions, including the Savannah Civic Center and the SCAD Museum of Art, and is in close proximity to Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation.
