(NYSE: CHH), one of the world's leading hotel companies, named the Riverside Hotel, a member of the Ascend Hotel Collection, the winner of the Ascend Hotel Collection's 2015 Hotel of the Year Award. This honor, recognizing the hotel's commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience, was recently announced at Choice Hotels' 61st Annual Convention in Las Vegas.

The Riverside Hotel opened in 2008, built on the site of an old motel that had been a popular vacation spot since the early 1900s. Owner Pierre Saba had a vision of a top-of-the-line hotel with luxurious furnishings, beautiful details throughout the property and oversized guest rooms that offered views of the tranquil Connecticut River from every room. General Manager Frank LaGrande was brought on board, and soon after, the Riverside Hotel became a member of the Choice Hotels' Ascend Hotel Collection, taking the hotel to the next level. The increased exposure for the property has resulted in the hotel welcoming even more guests to the scenic southwestern corner of New Hampshire.
