(NYSE: EOG) (EOG) today announced that it has completed its previously announced public offering of 13,570,000 shares of common stock, including 1,770,000 shares issued upon full exercise of the underwriters' over-allotment option, at a public offering price of $105.50 per share. EOG's net proceeds from the offering of approximately $1.39 billion (after deducting the underwriting discount and estimated offering expenses) are expected to be used for general corporate purposes, including funding of future capital expenditures.
Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Barclays Capital acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. Allen & Company LLC, J.P. Morgan and RBC Capital Markets acted as co-managers for the offering.
