HOUSTON, March 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- EOG Resources, Inc. (NYSE: EOG) (EOG) today announced that it has priced its public offering of 11.8 million shares of its common stock. EOG has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1.77 million shares of common stock. The shares were offered to the public at $105.50 per share. The offering is expected to settle and close on March 7, 2011, subject to customary closing conditions. Net proceeds from the offering are expected to be used for general corporate purposes, including funding of future capital expenditures.
Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Barclays Capital are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Allen & Company LLC, J.P. Morgan and RBC Capital Markets are acting as co-managers for the offering.
