Ernst & Young LLP Receives Three 2012 Association of Management Consulting Firms Awards

NEW YORK, March 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ernst & Young LLP was named the recipient of three 2012 Association of Management Consulting Firms (AMCF) awards during the AMCF's inaugural awards gala dinner March 1 in New York. The awards, which celebrate excellence in consulting, recognized the firm's Advisory Services' client work in the areas of change management, finance and risk management and developing markets. Ernst & Young LLP was the only organization to receive as many as three awards during the awards ceremony.

• Change management – Ernst & Young LLP leveraged its deep, life-science-sector knowledge and large-project experience to help AstraZeneca implement a new data management system.
• Finance and risk management – Ernst & Young LLP helped Johnson Controls effectively design and implement a new finance and risk management to support an operation or business unit.
• Developing markets – Ernst & Young LLP collaborated with Ecopetrol S.A. to develop, design, and implement a new operating model that would be used across Latin America, the former Soviet Union, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Methodology

Awards were given out in ten categories: Business Strategy, Change Management, Finance and Risk Management, Customer Engagement, Human Capital, Operational Performance, Corporate Social Responsibility/ Environmental, Transaction/Event-Driven, Technology Transformation, and Developing Markets. An independent, unbiased panel of judges assessed the quality of each submission and rigorously evaluated them against detailed selection criteria.
