Fabco's FabGuard Filters Earn EPA Approval for Reducing COLIFORM BACTERIA

FARMINGDALE, N.Y., Dec. 2, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- FABGUARD media used in Fabco's StormBasin, StormSafe and patented Helix treatment systems has been approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for reducing coliform bacteria in stormwater, industrial wastewater and municipal wastewater applications.

FabGuard filters combine a patented antimicrobial chemical with our proprietary cellular foam material. This antimicrobial solution will not wash out, or leach into the environment.

Efficacy testing of FabGuard performed at flow rates ranging from 10 to 100 gallons per minute has confirmed reduction of both E. coli and Enterococcus in the 70 to 99% range.
