Foot Locker, Inc. Increases Quarterly Dividend 9 Percent, Approves New $400 Million Share Repurchase Program

NEW YORK, Feb. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Foot Locker, Inc. (NYSE: FL), the New York-based specialty athletic retailer, announced today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend on the Company's common stock of $0.18 per share, which will be payable on April 27, 2012 to shareholders of record on April 13, 2012. This dividend represents a 9 percent increase over the Company's previous quarterly per share amount and is equivalent to an annualized rate of $0.72 per share.
In addition, the Board of Directors approved a new 3-year, $400 million common share repurchase program extending through January 2015, replacing the Company's previous $250 million program.
