~Frost & Sullivan hosts Growth, Innovation & Leadership (GIL) Malaysia 2014 in Iskandar~
NUSAJAYA, Johor, Malaysia, April 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Frost & Sullivan holds its Growth, Innovation & Leadership (GIL) Congress across eighteen cities annually. It is regarded as a platform for sharing innovative ideas, engaging in discussions and strategizing to solve some of the key challenges affecting this region. This year, GIL Malaysia is being held at Traders Hotel, Puteri Harbour, Johor. This is the first time since the launch of GIL Malaysia that this event is happening out of the Malaysian capital.

This year, the theme of 'Connected Living' will be discussed in detail throughout the congress. This will be an extension of Frost & Sullivan's recent focus on the integration of smart technology across various industries and countries. According to Frost & Sullivan forecasts, the connected living and smart city applications are expected to reach upwards of a trillion dollars by 2020.

The evening will close with the 10th Annual Malaysia Excellence Awards. These awards will recognize Malaysian companies that have demonstrated outstanding performance through leadership, technological innovation and other initiatives in their field in the last year.
