DOVER, N.J., Dec. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- POLICE Magazine has selected the CASIO G-SHOCK Military line as one of the most popular products featured in POLICE Magazine during 2015.
POLICE featured hundreds of products in their coverage of law enforcement technologies, tools, weapons, and apparel. Through analysis of reader interest shown on PoliceMag.com and through the insight of the editorial staff's conversations with officers, POLICE determined 20 products to be the most popular covered in the magazine during 2015.
The G-SHOCK models featured in the magazine's December issue are a part of the Military Black line. Strap, body, face, and dials are all blacked out for maximum covertness. The GA110MB-1A and the GA100MB-1A are a combination of analog and digital displays with a quartz movement. The Military Black line features excellent shock- and magnetic resistance, as well as being watertight up to 200 meters. Features include a chronograph, countdown timer, calendar, world time, and alarm; all lit by a red LED.
The 2015 Police Reader Choice Awards appears in the December, 2015 issue of Police magazine.
CASIO's shock-resistant G-SHOCK watch is synonymous with toughness, born from the developer Mr. Ibe's dream of 'creating a watch that never breaks'. Over 200 handmade samples were created and tested to destruction until finally in 1983 the first, now iconic G-SHOCK hit the streets of Japan and began to establish itself as 'the toughest watch of all time'. Each watch encompasses the 7 elements; electric shock resistance, gravity resistance, low temperature resistance, vibration resistance, water resistance, shock resistance and toughness. The watch is packed with Casio innovations and technologies to prevent it from suffering direct shock; this includes internal components protected with urethane and suspended timekeeping modules inside the watch structure. Since its launch, G-SHOCK has continued to evolve, continuing to support on Mr. Ibe's mantra "never, never give up".
