Goodwill to open new retail store in Edgewater
New store marks 6th retail location in Anne Arundel County.

BALTIMORE, April 22, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, will be opening a new retail store and donation center on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 9 a.m. The new store is located at 3153 Solomon's Island Road, Edgewater, MD 21037. It is Goodwill's 29th retail location.
The new store will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
To celebrate the opening, the new Goodwill store will have a ribbon cutting ceremony, a raffle and will feature the everyday great prices and selection customers know. During the Grand Opening Weekend (Wednesday, April 29th through Sunday, May 3rd), customers can also enter to win a flat screen television or Kindle Fire.
This is the 6th retail store Goodwill has in Anne Arundel County and will create 17 new jobs in the community. Area residents will also be able to donate unwanted clothing and household items at the location. In addition to 26 retail stores, Goodwill operates 3 outlets.
