Highmark Advertisements Promote Its Health Insurance Coverage to U.S. Olympic Team

PITTSBURGH, Feb. 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Highmark Inc. launched an advertising campaign this week across Pennsylvania and West Virginia that will be tagged with "Official Supplier to the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team." Highmark provides health insurance coverage to approximately 1,000 elite athletes from across the United States competing in more than 45 sports.

The USOC began its contract with Highmark in 2005, and since then, Highmark has provided coverage for thousands of athletes each year who participate in both the winter and summer games and the Paralympic Games.
