Hughes Communications India Named Best VSAT Operator in India at Telecom Operator Awards

NEW DELHI and GERMANTOWN, Md., May 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hughes Communications India Ltd. (HCIL), India's leading provider of broadband satellite networks and services, was recognized as the Best VSAT Operator in India at the Telecom Operator Awards ceremony held in April 2010 in New Delhi. Presented to Partho Banerjee, president and managing director of HCIL, by Nripendra Misra and Pradip Baijal, both ex-chairmen, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), the award recognizes companies that demonstrate outstanding performance in delivering world-class results in service and support in the telecom sector.
