NEW YORK, Dec. 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- To better serve clients and meet the growing demand for engaging and efficient user experiences, EY announced today that Intuitive Company has joined Ernst & Young LLP in the US. Intuitive, an award-winning studio that designs and builds user-focused apps, websites, and software, has been helping large and small businesses transform their brands through enhancing user experiences in order to compete in a fast and ever-changing marketplace. The combined group will be known as EY-Intuitive.
EY-Intuitive can introduce user-centric processes to clients—helping them understand not only their end customers, but also exactly how, when and where it is best to reach those customers through improved experiences. Intuitive's understanding of users, combined with EY's experience addressing global business issues, can help clients across all industries create value. EY plans to leverage Intuitive's unique approach to user experience strategy and replicate it in other studios.
"User experience is the new battleground for companies working to capture share of mind and wallet, so this deal is coming at the right time for us and our clients," said Roger Park, Principal, Ernst & Young LLP and the its Financial Services Office (FSO) Advisory Strategy leader. "With Intuitive's strong research, design and front-end development capabilities, we can demonstrate to clients the impact of a superior user experience on their bottom lines."
Park, noted that for many EY clients— companies that operate in complex environments—creating consistent, engaging user experiences across all touch points cannot be done overnight. It typically requires significant transformation, including technological, marketing and operational changes across the enterprise.
"This deal is an exciting one for Intuitive because it means we have the chance to collaborate with some of the world's most important brands and offer them new creative approaches to really tough business challenges," said Greg Picarelli, one of the founders of Intuitive. "We're confident that EY and Intuitive will make a great pair for the long term. I think there's a lot we can learn from each other going forward, but it's clear we're already coming from the same place because we both encourage entrepreneurship, collaboration and an employee-centric culture."
