PITTSBURGH, March 9, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Port Richey, Fla., has developed the WATER CHAIR & LOUNGE, a new type of floatation device for recreational swimmers, water sports enthusiasts, boaters, etc. It allows an individual to sit upright and float in the water in a hands-free manner up to his or her waist. A prototype is available.
"I came up with this idea while playing football in the pool with my grandkids. I ended up in the deep end of the pool treading water while trying to throw and catch. An invention like mine would keep me afloat while also having my hands free," said the inventor. The WATER CHAIR & LOUNGE offers a fun and comfortable new floatation device for recreational swimmers. It features a smaller, more compact and more portable alternative to conventional floating chairs, rafts, etc. This new device enhances maneuverability, particularly in deep water. In turn, it eliminates the need to constantly tread water. It is more practical and less restrictive than other floatation devices. It allows hands to be free to engage in other tasks and activities. Finally, the design ensures it will not blow about during strong gusts of wind.
The original design was submitted to the Tampa sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
