"At Inventus Power, innovation is fundamental to delivering greater value for our customers," said Patrick Trippel, President & CEO of Inventus Power. "Our partnership with Aerovy extends our offerings beyond hardware intelligence into IoT-based, cloud-connected software solutions. By unlocking actionable data, we can enable advanced battery and vehicle capabilities tailored to OEM needs through robust enterprise-grade infrastructure, advanced platform capabilities and next generation hardware intelligence."
Aerovy Founder and CEO Nick Gunady added, "Our cloud-based software and AI platform delivers real-time insights through battery and system-level connectivity. We can help customers transform their fragmented operations into a services-enabled ecosystem. Teaming up with Inventus Power allows us to extend our software development capabilities into critical operations where reliability, uptime, and predictive performance matter most."
Key objectives of the partnership include:
The relationship between Aerovy and Inventus Power began in 2023, supporting a motorbike retrofit initiative in Indonesia. Aerovy, a research-backed spinout from Purdue University, was introduced to Trippel through his Purdue connections. Trippel tasked the software company to develop a cloud-connected platform to oversee Inventus Power's battery swap infrastructure in Indonesia, integrating multiple organizational and user ecosystems. Leveraging Aerovy's specialized data fabric and tech stack for micromobility, the project achieved rapid deployment, launching a consumer-facing mobile app and system integrations within weeks.
"I was impressed by Aerovy's speed and technical execution in delivering a scalable battery ecosystem and I see great potential in our future collaboration," Trippel continued. "By expanding on Inventus Power's existing investment in a connected platform infrastructure, we can empower our OEM customers to build customized IoT-enabled battery & system connectivity solutions—enabling new fleet management services, data monetization models, and additional revenue streams."
