Invoca Named to Inc. 500 List of Fastest-Growing Private Companies
Tens of billions of phone calls driven by mobile devices contribute to demand for Invoca's call intelligence technology
SANTA BARBARA, Calif., Aug. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Invoca, the leading provider of cloud-based inbound call marketing automation, announced today it has been named to Inc. Magazine's 33rd annual 500 list, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies, placing 376th overall and 32nd in the Software category. The widespread adoption of mobile phones is contributing heavily to Invoca's growth, with more consumers picking up the phone to purchase, and in turn leaving marketers guessing when it comes to attributing revenue to calls.
"With the incredible growth of mobile devices, people are increasingly using their phones to place calls and make purchases," said Jason Spievak, CEO of Invoca. "And even though $64.6 billion[1] is spent annually across media to generate calls, companies don't have insight into which ads and campaigns are actually driving calls. At Invoca, we're bringing phone calls out of the dark ages and into the modern marketing era. We give marketers the attribution, analytics and automation you expect for digital channels, and apply it to inbound phone calls. Ultimately that means more revenue and a better customer experience."
Invoca has achieved impressive revenue, customer and employee growth over the last several years. Important milestones include:
- A three-year revenue growth of more than 1,200 percent from 2010 to 2013
- 82 percent gain in customers from H1 2013 to H1 2014
- Over 100 million calls routed through Invoca's platform as of Q3 2014, with inbound call volume more than doubling year-over-year
- Mobile advertising (including search, display and apps) drove the majority of inbound calls to Invoca customers, increasing by 173 percent from 2012 to 2013
- Increased employee count by 108 percent over the past year
Spievak added, "Being named to the Inc. 500 list is a tremendous honor, as it validates how well we're executing on our mission to help companies drive more revenue through inbound calls. And as we continue to grow, we'll be remaining laser-focused on customer success, product innovation and employee development."
The company recently announced it converted $2.5 billion in sales for its customers since the company was founded and was named one of the Hottest Companies in Southern California and Central Coast's fastest-growing company.
To be included on the Inc. 500 list, privately held companies had to meet several qualifications, including having revenues of at least $2 million in 2013 and having achieved a staggering minimum of 942.3 percent in sales growth over the past three years.
