Jackson Hewitt Announces Dates for Reporting Preliminary 2010 Tax Filing Results and Fiscal 2010 Results

PARSIPPANY, N.J., May 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. ("Jackson Hewitt") (NYSE: JTX) announced today that it will be issuing a press release to report its preliminary 2010 tax filing results on Thursday, May 27, 2010, after the close of trading on the New York Stock Exchange.

Jackson Hewitt also announced that it will report its fiscal 2010 results prior to the opening of trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Harry W. Buckley, president and chief executive officer, and Daniel P. O'Brien, chief financial officer, will host an analyst conference call to discuss the results on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at 8:30 a.m. (EDT).
