John Conger joins Avison Young in Dallas

Top agency leasing broker becomes Principal, will help grow firm's landlord-representation service-line coverage across Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex

DALLAS, March 12, 2019 /PRNewswire/ - Greg Langston, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the company's Dallas office, announced today that John Conger has joined the firm in Dallas.

Effective immediately, Conger becomes a Principal of Avison Young with a mandate to help grow the company's landlord-representation service-line coverage across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. He was most recently an executive vice-president at Colliers International in Dallas.

Conger brings 30 years of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young. During his career, he has helped negotiate more than $1 billion in lease and sales transactions and has been responsible for the lease, sale or oversight of more than 100 office buildings. In addition, he has played a key role in the development of more than 5 msf of office buildings in the Dallas area, and has advised clients on the acquisition of multiple office buildings totaling approximately $200 million in value within Texas, Colorado, Minnesota and California.

Conger is active in the industry as a member of The Real Estate Council (TREC) and the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors and Real Estate Professionals (NTCAR). In the community, he volunteers with the Dallas Chamber of Commerce. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in real estate from Southern Methodist University. 

Also joining Avison Young in Dallas is David Quisenberry. A 39-year industry veteran who was most recently an executive vice-president at Colliers International in Dallas, Quisenberry becomes a senior vice-president in Avison Young's Dallas office. He will work closely with Conger and focus on landlord representation in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. His extensive career experience has been focused on the building owners' side of the North Texas commercial real estate market.
